I really liked reading your response and the way that you articulated your message. I agree with you that the 1923 Kanto Earthquake served as more of a 'breaking point' for the Japanese people. That, combined with the changes in Japan's economy that led to price increases, the growing Korean population pursuing jobs in Japan, and the general view of the Japanese people towards Korean people, all explain part of the motive behind the 1923 massacre of Koreans.
